Combine that with the fact that he literally has a job that involves her fetish and I could see this going in some type of direction.

I feel like you were speaking to Shirley, not the other way around. Certainly she doesn't need the support, but it's my impression that anthroPCs who are in or on our side of the uncanny valley don't expose what would be private areas for us. Whether this is for our benefit or their own personal feeling is unclear; sometimes I feel like it might be both. But for someone who doesn't want to have random reminders that she's wearing such a garment throughout the day, that top is a good choice. It hugs the skin, for a steady and thus unmemorable contact.

My grandmother had a starter that she kept for over 60 years, created from a pinch of her mother's starter, gifted to her on her wedding day. She in turn gifted a pinch to each of her daughters on their wedding days, neither of whom was able to keep it viable. My grandmothers starter spoiled while she was away for a weekend. We all feared the loss would be worse for her than losing her husband to cancer. But, no. She went and got a pinch from a neighbor, and started over. Probably a good life metaphor in there somewhere.
