I suspect it works something like a feedback loop. The cable that connects the two AIs relays signals from the sensory system of each participant. Lets try an example: Jeremy experiences sexual stimulation and the Seven experiences their version of it. As Seven's pleasure rises, Jeremy feels this as well and the feedback loop begins to form. This is where we could introduce another factor - the cable's resistance. In order to prolong the pleasure for each AI, the growth of the feedback loop needs to be slowed, otherwise each AI is going to climax in a matter of milliseconds. This resistance would explain why the cables burn out, if the AIs are banging all night long. I suspect firewalls and antivirus would be part of sexual hygiene for AIs but we don't know enough about AI reproduction to guess at preventing pregnancies, or even if such a thing would be possible.

I want to see Bubbles trying to be sexy, but I had to vote for Melon. Bubbles would be good undoubtedly, but Melon has that "grab a camera this is gonna be epic no matter how it turns out" thing going for her. Elliot sexy by accident is most strips he appears in.
