I went a little more than 2 years without washing my coffee cup at work. even lousy coffee was drinkable with that cup. i think it gave a stronger immune system as well.

Actually just the opposite. The oils that contain what we perceive as the flavors, go rancid with exposure to oxygen fairly quickly. Basically, if you can smell a coffee odor it needs to be hot water washed regularly. You are correct in that it does transfer a flavor, but not a good one (assuming you bought half way decent coffee and ground it before extraction)

Hannelore is still obsessive but no longer fragile. That's a formidable combination. It is lucky that she has an affectionate nature and that Station seems to have given her decent moral training.

Notice, she's upset at Dora not cleaning up properly, even though she's drunk from it since her return. She isn't freaking out about it like she likely would have before. A sign of her apparent (?) Recovery. Although we're kinda leaving Winslow hanging for now.
