Just a thought. The iPod had a backlight. Remnants of the backlight code might have been migrated to his new body, and activated with his Roko "encounter". Without any changes to his code, Winslow will have a 10 second glow from here on out.

I dunno Winslow, if I had a sub-par AI body, I too would rely extensively on implements for my intercourse needs.

I think Winslow is probably the older of the two AIs as he was Hannelores companion for a long time before he got his current body. OTOH Roko has had her full-sized bodies for a much longer time and have much more experience with interacting with the real world. Can it work? Maybe. But I think they are in very different places in their lives right now that I don't think they will be an item.

Do robots have ages/maturity levels? Because Roko just feels much older to me than Winslow. Like Winslow seems to be the equivalent of a teenager in human years while Roko seems to be the equivalent of a 30 something year old.
