Just so you know, there is an RPG system called Dread that uses a Jenga tower instead of dice. The theory being that as the game goes on the skill checks get harder and harder, and the monsters harder to kill. It is fun.

To be fair, everyone seems to get along quite well w/ Melon. Even when she randomly just appears in your apartment, everyone just accepts the fact that she is just a friendly, harmless, AI.

Yeah, I'm still convinced she is the mastermind that created and controls the Spookybot network from the shadows and takes some kind of perverse pleasure in their new "personal" interactions, with the Spookybots being absolutely clueless about it all.

I also like how block "32" is clearly counted in a quasi-ternary system. (First digit is level starting with 1, second digit is 0, 1, or 2 depending on position in the level.) Or possibly the counting is decimal but just starts at 11. Either way, since there are only 30 blocks, it's not just counting starting at 1. But both of the above systems match the missing blocks, so. As does the variant of the first that starts the level at 0 and has the blocks as 1, 2, or 3. Clever Jeph is clever.

I love how Yay just takes Melon in stride. She's not weird. She's not wrong. She's just different. (OK, to be fair, Melon is weird, but she's my kind of weird.) Who cares if she's making it up as she goes? It's fun! And when you think about it, weren't all games made up as they went?
