Way back at the end of September, "Sven is not a mooch" was actually the footer text on strip #4101. Then about six weeks ago, #4128 ended up with the same top and bottom text (including being misnumbered as 4101). Then three weeks ago, Jeph accidentally forgot to change the footer text for #4145. With it showing up on today's strip, it's officially a running gag.

Sven is actually kinda rich. He could probably pay for the boat in cash. If he went in on the boat with them, Steve and Marten would probably feel like mooches, even if they all went in evenly.
