Which makes it all the more amazing that I have TWO cats (from same litter) who have figured out the Doorknob Principle. (IE: yes, they jump up, wrap both paws around the knob, and hang from it until they get the door open.) I have watched them. We finally figured out HOW my roommate's door was getting open and the cats getting in. They are obsessed with going in and sitting under his bed. (My theory is they like the smell, because a past roommate had a chinchilla)

All I ask, as someone who had to assist the wrong person to do that, please be mindful of who you put in that position... (When I say "had to", it was basically either that or let him pee on the door to my room. Fortunately, it was just a matter of steering him in and guiding him to the stall. I was able to bail for the main event.)

Sorry, I just don't see it. The 4th panel is a bit more close-up, but Claire's smile is almost identical in both.
Doc Gumby
She's mostly both quiet (always) and busy (at work).

How is Marten a contestant? Millie and Tai were the ones being judged.

And Jonesie is all "I can't take you anywhere."

To be fair, Doorknobs are very tricky things.
Joseph Bonnar
Brun was there, shown in an earlier scene. Was SHE one of the judges or did she just pass to give the others a chance?

I mean, why have a butt-off when Faye and Bubbles aren't even there? (I mean, other the obvious reason that that means someone else could possibly win)

I dont think I've ever been so drunk I've needed help peeing before. I have a new life goal.

Never skip leg day!

Yeah, I guess jeph has been reading oglaf

I love how the 2 and the 4 cases are similar, but the pointy part of the dialog-bubble are different in the two, and it make the emphase on case n°4 on the smirky smile of claire, doing a subtil impression she smile more in the last case.

The lips tho

This reminds me of the "bodice bounce" and "kilt swing" events at certain SCA gatherings....

As someone who commissioned more art of Mille shaking that ass... I called it

Neglect not thy Glutes, Lest ye be Judged.

Of course you didn't help judge in the butt contest Martin. It would be really inappropriate for a contestant to also be a judge.

They're all good butts, Brent.

Ok Claire is being pretty darned adorable and an amazing girlfriend right here. <3 I love how incredibly real every character in this comic is.

Pancakes aren't necessarily a good answer to running out of pancake ingredients. A store run is generally a much better answer to that one.

To be fair, I also don't get the social lubrication effect most people seem to get from alcohol, but it seems like it's a big net negative even for those who do get social lubrication, because the social lubrication effect tends to come with additional morning after issues. For me, it just made it harder to think, which is something I do for basically everything (breathing did continue to happen when I was drunk and not thinking about it, but it didn't work as well, due to nasal issues I typically need to compensate for.)

There's Dora, getting to the bottom of life's mysteries.

Butt jiggling night at the pub sure beats dart night

And Millie is still wearing Faye's shorts. Maybe she should see about buying them off her.

I think hangovers are more in the lower hells.

But who did Steve marry? I'm guessing Millefeuille (spelling) and her science partner...:)

Hahaha, Claire and Martin as wicked cute, even though he's hung over to high heaven.

I don't drink because I would rsther remember the butt-judging. And any further shenanigans, ass related or no.

Claire really does take after her mom in knowing that pancakes are a good answer to any situation.

And that’s why I don’t get drunk.

Doorknobs, zippers, and pants. The three things that become impossible when drunk.
