The strip as posted has changed more than that. Millefeuille doesn't have her memories locked, she's just embarrassed. So the text on the bathroom mirror is not a password. I also think the new version is less funny.

That generally means they were posted after you loaded the page, and if they were a reply to another comment that has at least one already, after you loaded the thread they're on. This is a case that is apparently too difficult for Patreon's programmers to figure out. Refresh the whole page and they'll be there.

Probably the difference between password protecting a folder vs actual encryption. One just prevents access to the data, the other actually scrambles it.
