Millefeuille's flirting reminds me of the weirdest flirt I've experienced. I went to get fingerprinted for a background check (I was trying to get into nursing school), and the guy at the fingerprinting place told me he used to be a phlebotomist. He said that he thought my veins would be difficult to find, because I'm thin. I told him that I'm actually a pretty easy draw. He then examined my arm, with the kind of squeezing and prodding phlebotomists would do, and seemed suitably impressed by how easy it was to find a good vein on me. I think he did it as an excuse to feel me up, but I'm not discounting the possibility I might have escaped from a vampire. That's probably the level of awkward Clinton is feeling in the last panel.

Simply being on the autism spectrum does not make a person incompetent. Taking away an adult's ability to enter into relationship "for their own good" slides into abusive and creepy real easily. Renee's heart is in the right place with regard to Brun, but at some point Brun is going to decide she doesn't need protection. I'll be surprised if this isn't already a potential plot line in Jeph's notebook.
