It real is a difficult internal catastrophe to cope with; finding out that the meticulously engineered hostility you arm yourself with, to protect you from the vulnerabillty you're terrified of experiencing because you're sure the only thing you can expect to receive is crushing disappointment and disdain, neither worked nor was needed. I do wonder...for those of us with meat brains, that sort of cognitive nightmare tends to stem from serious trauma (as far as I understand it). Does it just occur at random in AIs, or did May suffer some devastating psychological blow at some point? Was she like this before prison? Before wanting to be a figher jet? Was she embodied before that in any capacity? Inquiring minds etc etc etc
