While I am all for being anti-Nazi and anti-eugenics, as someone who was actually properly diagnosed with AS and has grown up calling myself an aspie, and being proud of it, can we, maybe, decide for ourselves what we want to be called, instead of having labels that we don't necessarily want or like be forced on us? I kind of get where this kind of political correctness comes from, but it frustrates me to no end that the people it actually affects rarely get a say in the matter.

Brun you and I both want to see this trophy. Also people in comments do not refer to autistic people as aspies. Aspergers is no longer in the dsm and is being removed from the ICD. Aspergers was and is a functioning label. It says nothing about how autism affects us but how autism affect Allistic and Neurotypical people.
