Because she is many. The avatars and mannerisms seem vaguely feminine (not that AIs need be programmed with a specific sense of sex, Pintsize seems firmly omnisexual, interested in every conceivable form of carnal pleasure and many that make no sense to protein-people), but there's literally multiple parallel units so collective pronouns work if addressing the overmind. It's very confusing, but I don't mind confusing Sci-Fi, I liked RAH's Number of the Beast, for fuck's sake!

I'd take that as a "we suck tonight" band name. When you realize you're having an off night and want to claim deniability, reintroduce the band after every song with a different wrong name. Like, if my outfit The James Rocket were really sucking bad: "hey thanks for coming out. We're Anxiety Spittoon" "We got a few more, thanks, we're Victoria's Secretion" and so on.
