What story are you referring to? The only reason I'm still subscribed after almost a decade is that there's no story. There's just a world, and things happen to people in that world. Like, stories have an ending. What ending could there possibly be to QC? It would have to be like Adventure Time. "That's the end of my story." "What happened after that?" You are correct; it hasn't been explicitly mentioned before. Millefeuille was the first AI to be confirmed as having "human-standard" anatomy, and then May of course specifically requested it. That May could get her preferred body "off the shelf" suggests that such features are in reasonable demand. That Millie had to warn Faye about hers suggests that they are still somewhat uncommon. I think we could conclude that they are still relatively new and/or luxury chassis options, but I've always assumed that the male anatomical features have kept pace with the female ones.

But I certainly agree with your sentiment. With Pintsize the only tiny "AnthroPC"-style robot left, he really didn't make sense with the rest of the cast. I think this will be an interesting and thought-provoking arc. Does being human-sized make Pintsize more tolerable by removing one of his fundamental sources of frustration (as much as he'd never admit it), or even cruder by giving him more ability to act on his antisocial impulses?

Pintsize has felt like sort of an anarchronism for a really long time, ever since QC has branched off from being a slice of life webcomic about one guy and his romantic travails and he has a little crude robot who does hijinks. I would just forget about Pintsize for months or years and then he'd pop up and I'd be like, oh yeah, that's a character in this comic. Needless to say, I totally approve of this development.
