If by "defund the police" you mean reallocate funding so as to relieve the cops of having to be gatekeepers for the mental health (non)system, having to deal with public health issues like addiction as criminal justice problems, having to use jails to warehouse the mentally ill, and ending the God damn useless "war on drugs" while we're at it, it's not a bad idea at all. If you mean defund the police to punish them for doing what the society hired them to do (including the aforementioned missions that should not have been assigned to law enforcement in the first place), you can go perform an anatomically impossible auto errotic act.
