Honestly I like that doctors are humble enough to do that. There was a story floating around about a teenage kid who was having an operation like that and he wrote "yes" and "no" on the appropriate legs, then started fucking around and writing "not here either" or "it's the leg! the leg!!" or whatnot all over his body, he even got his mom to turn him over and write, like, "what are you even doing here? turn me over" on his back and stuff, and the doctors told him after that the operation was delayed for half an hour because they couldn't stop laughing

Faye likes working on mechanical stuff, but when the mechanical stuff is self-aware, this type of procedure puts them more in the category robotic medical staff. The long and short of it is, Faye needs to work on her bedside manner.
