Thought: we live in a culture where masculinity is so heavily policed that two men holding hands is just Not Something That Happens without it "seeming gay." A fact which leaves men so often starved for touch. That makes this moment of contact so much more powerful and intimate - for Clinton to take Elliot's hand like that is really meaningful, it's a step he took without thinking because he was so focused on the moment, and all the more genuine for it. Queer romance at its best. I love this. :)
