To be fair, Clinton had a really rough start with all that Elliott thing, and generally I don't see their relations going very far. Aurelia, on the other hand, deserves at least a bit of something more exciting than playing bass stoned and eating takeout food (all great things, but Claire would be first to push idea of changes and pursuing other interests). My point is - although Clinton has dibs in this situation, I think he would be more than justified in giving them up for mom. Also let's wait for Elliott's reaction. Somehow it's really easy to lose his subjectivity in this comic.
