I had a different stupid hairstyle in the 90's. Oddly enough, my current reduced capacity for enjoyment *is* being caused by the human equivalent of a loose cable: I have a pinched nerve and no treatment so far has helped. More medical appointments tomorrow....

You don’t have to be alone with this, pink friend! Kudos to you for coming to talk to someone about this. At the moment, Faye and Bubs are analogous to an entire hospital of medical generalists and specialists. I wonder if over time, robot repair will evolve into a whole host of specialties and sub-specialties. I suppose with Lemon etc. there are at least some mental health analogs.

If only it was a simple thing like a cable. Once a teacher told us, wildly inappropriate to kids but no less true, that if we all had a button we could press to end it all, most people would press it at some point. I've never felt that bad but I've felt plenty empty and fortunately I'm not blaming myself for it these days.
