They need to call Lemon ASAP and set it up so they can refer AIs to an actual therapist. This brings up a really interesting aspect of their job in which they have must act as both doctors and mechanics… except they are trained more as mechanics, not doctors. But I am glad that Faye has the awareness to just ‘nope’ to being a therapist. She knows she doesn’t have the skill, and does not want the responsibility, especially considering her own history and mental health.

Life must be hell for AIs. I hate it. The constant war between your filtering software and spam on one hand. Pop-up ads, autoplay videos, pr0n, and notifications blasted directly into your awareness on the other. And we're not even talking about having your brain under perpetual attack by everything from political and religious reprogrammers, propagandists, malware blasters, and bitcoin miners who all want to (ab)use your mind and cognitive resources.
