I think the other Yays view the Yay at Aurelia's house as being the current perspective, or of having the focus of all of their attention, so even though they are all in separate locations, they consider themselves outside Aurelia's house. Or, maybe we're thinking about this more than Jeph did.

Between this and Roko rushing outside to provide battery backup during a power outage, QC is full of people role-modeling being good neighbors. Where I live, "let me go out personally to check if that person is in crisis" is not the usual response to someone having a heated argument with themself. Things would probably be a lot nicer if it was.
