Heh. You can tell Aurelia doesn't have much experience walking dogs or carrying weapons. One of the reasons dogs are generally walked on the left comes from military and police work. The dog was walked on the non-dominant side so the dominant hand could access a sidearm. It's pretty clear that Aurelia is right-handed ( https://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=4481 and 4482 ).
