I suspect it doesn't apply, as Yay is pointing out age doesn't map the same way as it does with humans. It's not like emotional and mental development in humans is simple - people never stop learning in that respect. I don't think we really know about how AIs development in this setting. They're presumably hitting the ground with a human adult equivalent level of knowledge, comprehension, reasoning, and emotional understanding. Although as I said it's not like humans ever stop developing in those areas. You don't magically have all the skills you need in life at 16. Or 18. Or 21. Or whatever age your culture has arbitrarily decided adulthood is.

I actually hadn't thought about that. With all the folks shopping Aureliyay (Yayrelia?), it does raise one question. How does age of consent work with AIs? Also potentially important for Faye and Bubs

Also, does it feel a little "I fucked up so I'm gonna drink about it" to anyone else? Kinda unhealthy, but not really cause Yay is there? But still a little not great? Also also, depending on how high she got she's gonna have a BAD hangover if she's anything like me -- mixing alcohol and weed somehow produces a hangover worse than either on their own
