This may be where Jeph is going, but in real life when rich people donate to charity, they usually create their own "charities" which they retain control over. A big part of that being the tax loophole. I wouldn't be surprised if her legal people did something like that. Seems like the obvious thing to do would be to set up a local program to pay for AI in need to get preventative checkups & repairs done at their shop. Help people in need, and get money to her friends in a way they'd feel good about.

Nice to finally learn about Hanners' financial situation, since I've been wondering about it since she started working at Coffee of Doom... what about Marigold though?
