All this talk of mortgages worries me because I assume that being a successful streamer is like being a successful rock star. You can't assume you will be making that big money forever, your popularity could fade at any time. So you don't want to lock in fixed expenses. tl,dr; Don't buy a house with a mortgage, save up until you can buy for cash.

At least in my area mortgages are much cheaper than rent if you can get a down payment. But rent around here is INSANE. However, with what Marbear is bringing in, they may be able to get something for cash.
