The question of whether the animal alimentary canal takes precedence and all other perforations are, in fact, inward continuous deformations bounded by inter-molecular distances is the equivalent discussion. For humans, at least (and probably cetaceans), the nasopharangeal complex probably cannot be finessed as easily without specifying the state of the mouth and eyelids.

No joke, it's more likely there are advanced lifeforms under the sea than it is that they're elsewhere nearby (in the Sol system, either in space or inside a planet or moon.) The UFO videos the U.S. Navy put out, those generally took place over open water.

With all of these comics mentioning the deep ocean, I've been waiting to see some sort of reference to OceanGate, so understandable.

When I read the caption in my advance-notice email I assumed the comic would be *about* Cubetown!

When my physiology prof pointed that out to us, I was vaguely horrified. He later described our bodies as a doughnut, stretched out from top to bottom
