Aaack! I’ve just gotten back online today after several days in ICU with Covid! Still in hospital, but soon to move to rehab for a short time. Didn’t knowing had it until sudden exhaustion set in and I was unable to stand. Rescue squad has to cart me out of my bathroom. Once in ICU and diagnosed, Covid triggered an episode with my chronic Atrial Fibrillation. Improved now, and walking around on my own.

Mint tea kind of helps-- it's a stomach soother and enough of it will make you mildly sleepy, though it won't do much else.

Hoping for a quick and unproblematic recovery! Don't push yourself when you start to recover, take the time until you're fully back to strength, otherwise the risk of ending up with long-term issues is so much worse.

Ouch. Yeah, don't expect to recover from Covid fast and don't push through the sickness, it can relapse. Though the variant I caught early this year was only really bad the first few days, it still took a month before I could get back to work.

Damn, best wishes, dude! I've been given this advice on avoiding long covid and will pass it on: rest as much as possible and significantly longer than you think you need to after recovering. Personally I would rather see a long break in QC than for you to have what I have (I have a similar post-viral condition acquired before 2020).
