Good Morning Thursday
Okay, Gioni set up the camera. Anyone besides me envy early risers?

Sasha, it seems, can sleep through anything!
I told Gioni that it’s going to be great having her on our adventures. I’m sure an extra person running the camera will help capture more things for me to write about.
So, while she was taking pictures, I thought about what to write. Seems like this could work out.
Cairo is Egypt’s capital, It is known for its rich history and vibrant culture, tracing its origins back to ancient times.
ChatGPT said, “Founded in 969 AD by the Fatimid dynasty, Cairo's strategic location near the Nile Delta made it a pivotal center of trade and politics. Over the centuries, it grew, absorbing influences from the Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. The city's landscape is a tapestry of historical landmarks, from the medieval Islamic architecture in the historic center to the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza on its outskirts. Today, Cairo melds its storied past with a bustling, modern urban life, remaining a cornerstone of Egyptian identity and heritage.”
I didn’t fact-check that. It’s usually pretty good about such things!
Today, the three of us are going to do some casual exploring of this amazing city. I can’t even guess what we’ll find!
Now, the exact details are still being arranged, but by next Wednesday, we’re going to be in Cape Town, South Africa to meet up with @wendy_we4550 Wendy Wellington. We correspond on IG, and it will be great to get into the same camera frame!
So, that’s the plan. Sasha has stirred a little, so I guess it’s time to put away the camera and get ready for our morning.
See you soon!
