Link, from Zelda 2 the Adventure of Link, is given a new spell by what seems like a normal old man. He casts it only to find out it's the fairy spell and as he shrinks the old man is revealed to be one of the bosses from the game, Carock, who catches the new fairy in a jar to set on display for the other bosses.
