🕑 Added 2023-09-10 01:07:24 +0000 UTCSo here's a thing about the Warp Stabilizer tool in Adobe Premiere: it is a very useful tool for dealing with shaky handheld camera footage, and if you haphazardly wandered through the woods rambling into said camera for upwards of an hour, you may feel inclined to make use of it. You may even decide that it would be a good idea to get all the stabilizing done ahead of time, and painstakingly slather it all over your video timeline before you've gotten a sense of where the shaky parts are especially bad or even which parts of the footage will actually be shown on screen. You might do this as a subtle form of editing procrastination, safe in the knowledge that you are in some way making progress with the video.
Here's my advice: Actually look into what the use-cases of a tool are before you cover your timeline with it. Because you may just find out that, when it comes to tools like Warp Stabilizer, they are not in fact meant to be slathered all over your timeline because doing so will cause your project size to balloon to about a hundred times that of any other project you have ever put together, making it impossible to render and export with your ailing laptop. The moral of this story is that the Warp Stabilizer tool is only supposed to be used for patching up small clips of bad footage, and this lesson is brought to you by the 6 hours of troubleshooting I just spent to find that out.

Glad the shake wasn't too distracting! I definitely only notice a huge influx of "anti woke" types when my videos get shown around to whole new audiences, so paradoxically I usually feel pretty good about it as it's a sign the channel is reaching outside the established crowd. It's pretty much inevitable in those kinds of situations that there's gonna be a lot of trash and toxicity cropping up, I mostly just try not to take it too seriously or expect the comment section to remain totally hospitable

Despite your issues with the tool, the video seemed adequately stable to me - seems like the success of your video will lead to a broader audience viewing them, so the “anti-woke” crowd will eventually encounter it, hate watch it, dislike and comment their disdain when they can no longer stomach it consequently leading the algorithm (all hail the algorithm) to serve it up to more of their ilk - has this been your general experience, or was this instance particularly worse?
