I understand what you mean about another group hitting different. I started out a couple of years ago with BTS, and it just didn't jive with me. I don't dislike them, their music just wasn't for me. Then I found SKZ. 🫰

There are 44 comments so I'm sure someone has said something similar but your comment about "I'm gonna be me/real" is especially true for this group. This group has received a lot of hate. They haven't been mainstream in Korea but they are growing in popularity there as they are succeeding internationally. Thunderous is their response to people saying they make noise music (on the album NoEasy). They double down and call themselves the thunderous ones. They will stay dirty and not going to change for haters. Their song Cheese is also a diss track but they have several songs with messages to haters.
