I figured you wouldn’t be too fond of the collab, but I think you need to give Crush a second chance because he’s actually known for having an amazing voice, and is the voice behind a lot of kdrama soundtracks. Beautiful Life is a good one but even his most recent appearance on IU’s Palette where he covers her song Lullaby will give you an idea of his vocal ability.

K-pop was/is very much built on hip hop so that’s why it’s so reminiscent of those throw back beats and that’s also why a lot of black culture (some fashion, hairstyles, slang) is seen in K-pop quite a bit

Crush sang his song “beautiful life” at j-hope’s sister’s wedding. It was in the ost for a kdrama called Goblin. Very good song. I wonder how long they’ve been working on this collab because crush just got discharged from the army last month I think?
