i recommend finding some pronunciation videos if you want to learn their names! you can also copy and paste the korean spelling into google translate and listen to the Korean (not english) audio (because, no shade, but i'm seeing some inaccurate pronunciation tips in the comments). it's totally fine to say chris or the others' stage names though, chris actually prefers being called chris

it's more like "jung-in", and the "yang" doesn't rhyme with hang, it's the other "A" sound. it's 양정인 in hangul, honestly i think the best way to learn their names is by putting the hangul spelling into google translate and listening to the Korean audio (not the english audio) or just learning hangul if you have some extra time, its actually fairly simple to learn

Jeongin is actually not pronounced like that. Nigel actually says the Jeong part pretty accurately, but the last part is pronounced closer the word "in" rather than i.n. like he was saying. The first Korean letter of his name is "jeong" and the second part is "in". The explanations for the other members names was spot on though!

Oh and for Koreans, family name is the first one. So for instance, Hwang Hyunjin : Hwang is his family name and Hyunjin his first name. To sum up, their first names are Christopher (or Chan), Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix (or Yongbok), Seungmin and Jeongin.

Blood type is a big thing in Asia, and is like astrology can be in other places (certain blood types are certain personalities). Fun fact, when Felix was given his Korean name by his grandfather, his mom cried. Yongbook is similar to naming someone Jethro or something, so she was sad he would have that name. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I read it once and could be overplaying it) Also I was born in 91, so ya'll all babies to me

You totally should do each member. That'll be so funn! BTW the pronunciation for i.n and Hans kor. name Yang (like the pronunciation of hang) Jeon-gin(like the pronunciation of John-gin). And Hans is Han(like on but add the h) Jisung (like Jee-Sung). Hope that helped! And yes hyunjin does call us dummies cause we call them dummies aswell lol. Chan prefers Chris and Felix’s name is Felix he just goes by Yongbok in Korea. Changbin, Hyunjin and Seungmin all go by their real names. Han’s name is Jisung but they usually call him HanJi. I.N shorten is name since Jeong-in is hard to pronounce. I just call him Innie. I’ve learned that most younger people in Korea don’t like to be called by their full names like Hwang Hyunjin since it sounds way too formal. Oh! And Minho goes by Lee Know or Lino because there’s already a popular Minho from the group Shinee and the famous kdrama actors Lee Minho.

the Hwang in Hwang Hyunjin is pronounced more like "hwung" (kinda like swung but with an h to start lol) and the Yang in Innie's name is pronounced as "young". Usually when they use "a" to spell out a name it's pronounced as "uh". Hope this helps Nigel! thanks for the reaction!
