Substance (lyrically)would probably be in their b-sides. Try Secret Secret (written by Han about his anxiety) and Silent Cry (written by 3racha as a response to Secret Secret - somebody correct me if I am wrong on this). They have aloooot more but these two really stood out to me, personally. Keep it coming! ❤️

I just started following you but excited to see you explore both my favs. I love your reaction because it reflects mine. I found Kpop with BTS and was consumed by them and this group Stray Kids came around and once I gave them a real shot, I was hooked too. They aren't trying to be like anyone else and most of their music does have more significance as you get to know them. One big theme is being yourself. They self-produce with 3racha (Chan, the leader, Changbin and Han) as the main producers. For them to write everything it has to have some significance to them in lyrics and creative expression. You'll find that songs and albums have some SKZ lore and storylines that start to thread together. Musically they are different from BTS but where they are similar is that you'll find them to be very authentic, real, talented, have the ability to be vulnerable, they have a deep love for each other and they are just goofy. You definitely need to mix MVs with some of their other content. And some of their albums have intros and stuff where they explain the music, which you might find interesting. You might actually enjoy starting at the beginning with them and seeing their journey. They released Hellavtor predebut as part of a reality show JYP did to make them prove they could debut (they also wrote the song on that show). The group was formed by their leader Chan. I really understood them more after watching that.

Hyunjin pulls my attention EVERY TIME! He has such an expressive face that it just draws you in...and in these songs the expression was INTENSITY! Wow. And his dancing is phenomenal. I've looked at some of his solo dances that he has done and/or choreographed and he is amazing. He ability to pop so quickly blows my mind. Like the whole moment during maniac (around 35:36) but especially near the end of this part where you can see him move his head so quickly to each beat. I rewatched those few seconds like 5 times. Just, wow.

I have been wanting to delve into their music and learn more about them as a group but I've only been ARMY for a year and I have like 9 years worth of BTS content to catch up on plus all the new stuff they keep releasing, so I just feel like I don't have time. Han is the rapper you said was your favorite so far. He's also Stray Kid's ace. He's main rapper and he's also a phenomonal singer. If there's one things Stray Kids are gonna do, they're gonna PERFORM and sing LIVE. They really know how to entertain. As for their discography, they have such a wide range of styles. They love to experiment with music so there's something for everyone. They also make their own music btw. They have a sub unit called 3Racha (the leader Chan and two main rappers Han and Changbin) who produce, compose and write all of their songs.
