Me too, I was like “ he can’t be serious “ but then I joined in confusion because I was like “ but he is right that didn’t really sound like Han” and then as he watched the other one I was like “ lol he’s gonna freak out when it plays” but I ended up freaking out because of how slicked they started with a low tempo( forgive my lack of vocabulary on music but you know what I mean, he went from low tone, to his voice)

The reason Han sounds so different in part of "We Go" is the cool way he uses his vocals! (And also 3RACHA playing around with the autotune) He starts off his verse with a more relaxed, dopier kind of way of rapping than we're used to from him, then you can hear his usual vocal tone come through toward the end of the verse (it's usually a bit less low and more powerful. I liked how Lee Mujin once mentioned that Han's vocals sound well suited for rock songs because he can sing powerfully like that)

When they were explaining "Ex", they were saying that the title in Korean (미치놈 - michinom) has the meaning like "crazy guy" (but they were saying that for the song, they made it more like "I was crazy", "I am the ex"). It's a very regretful song, and like you're cursing at yourself, not the other person. And "Any" is clever for the English and Korean titles kind of working together. "Any", like "anything", and 아니 (pronounced similar to "any"), meaning "no". Like you can suggest anything, but it still doesn't feel good enough I've noticed sometimes the meaning or emotion of the song gets a little lost in the English titles, and when they explain the naming behind a song, they explain about the Korean title From seeing "Back Door", I forgot you were in love with Hyunjin since day one. Oh also, the Christmas EP is FIREEEE 🔥🔥 The ballads are beautiful and Christmas Evel is as iconic as it gets. I am also a bit on the fence about their English versions sometimes, but I listen to the Domino Eng Vers more than the Korean one. I was biting my nails seeing the "We Go" live concert thumbnail sitting right there in front of you and hoping you'd click it 😭. But it's ok...hopefully you'll watch it in the future 🙏. It's so good! Then when you listened to "WOW" I was hoping you remembered the concert clips you freaked out about during the "INTRO" and would check out the concert performance of that as well...but no 😭. Nigel as usual thank you for the entertaining video. Hearing your initial thoughts about skz music is always so interesting. The album I am most excited for you to get to is THE SOUND. It has come to be one of my very favorite albums of all time and I think it will suit your personal taste the best out of all the album releases skz has had to date. It’s not one that gets talked about a lot but I know most of the fandom adores it, I think it was just released at a time where there was a lot of new music and because it is a Japanese release it did not have the same amount of promotion. I'm looking forward to what you think about the Maxident album! I listened to the whole thing again today on my drive home and it is such a great vibe! Yes Oddinary is hype and fire and lit, but Maxident is such a good vibe! And I like that some songs (like Chill, Superboard and TMI) have a lot of nostalgic sounds that you'll appreciate, especially if you listened to a lot of 90s r&B boy bands back in the day like BellBivDevoe, or ABC. I'm not even going to talk about 3racha or Taste! Basically it's one of those albums that had an interesting mix that really worked well together to leave the listener feeling good!

About Tortoise and the Hare, I’m pretty shure they were subtly hinting about them being drunk (or at least in a very goofy mood) during the making of the song, that’s why you can hear them laughing at the end of the track. In Life is my favorite album of all time. I think you need to look up what they talk about with ‘Ex’ in terms of the music video. It’s such a deeper meaning with all the ghosts. The Korean title 미친 놈 is like their equivalent of saying “Crazy Bitch” that is why Chan was like huh? It is my absolute favorite song out of all of the Stray Kids songs and I have heard everything they have ever done.

Ex is my favorite Straykids song when we are talking about meaning. Ex roughly translates to “Crazy Bastard Ex” in English. Which is why they said the title was very rude. The title showcases the intense emotions associated with the song, emphasizing the pain and anger experienced after a failed relationship. Basically, they cheated. -Might be triggering- Each of the members is handling the situation of the breakup differently. Felix: The train tracks signify his wanting to die after hurting the other person in the relationship. They showcase this by showing him putting his head on the train tracks. Lee Know: Drinking lots of water resembles becoming an alcoholic, overdrinking, and losing control. Bang Chan: Drowning himself Changbin: Blue Paint signifies his solo song, Streetlight. Blue paint is a sign of mental health. This shows that Changbin faced mental health issues from the breakup. Han: Delusions. He was envisioning himself still in the relationship. daydreaming that he was still with his significant other. Hyunjin: Building blocks. He is trying to feel "fine," trying to put his life back together, but it isn't working. Seungmin: Loneliness. Feeling alone after the breakup I.N.: The cake signifies time moving, and he is still feeling lonely. There are two theories about the ending. 1. Stray kids found each other, became happy, and are the reason that they are still alive today. 2. Because of the ghosts that are in the video, the members unfortunately can't take the pain of the breakup and pass away. The ending is a vision of their souls uniting happily in the end. Nigel if you read this, I hope you can rewatch the video with these knowing the meanings of each scene! You might resonate with it more.
