Man, when you dig in to the lyrics of their songs, they are so intentional. They love to do word play and having English speakers on the team means they can translate their songs and it will have the same meaning and vibe.

Personally I adore all of their English versions! I think part of that is knowing how hard they worked to stay true to the message and because one of the main songwriters is native English speaking. What I CANNOT take is some of the Japanese versions. God’s Menu hurt my FEELINGS with the “Here, sir.” 😭 I’m sorry

Nigel you should definitely check out the dance practices for Levanter!! I actually can’t believe you haven’t already when I looked for it because you love the song so much!! The choreo is so beautiful and one of my favs! They have 3 different versions: regular version, lovestay version, and even one to the English version which I’m glad you loved so much because so do I! You could react to all 3 in a video, I think that would be amazing!! They are all really heartwarming and beautiful! Good luck with moving! 🩵

I feel like the first English versions don’t hit as hard because most of them wasn’t good with English yet and in the later versions they sound more natural and they deliver the songs better now 5 star most of the songs got a good amount of English and I like probably one or two are English songs so look forward to that

I found this version when I was deep in depression (cliche I know) but this is my second favorite song. I can’t hear it without crying. For me, the person being let go of is…me. The old me the one who held me down and kept me buried in sadness and self hatred. I absolutely LOVE this English version!

Levanter is my favourite skz song, period. The emotions, the meaning behind the song, the instrumental, the MV.. its just perfect 🥹 and of course, this was their first comeback as ot8, a new start.. I'm pretty sure skz once said that this was their "debut" song 🤧

VINDICATION!!!! we knew you would love it nigel 💅🏼 levanter and double knot english versions were released together as a single (step out of clé) about a month after clé: levanter dropped. and you didn’t ask, but top/slump were released as a single, then the english versions together as another single, then the japanese versions as ANOTHER single (all after the tower of god anime started), before they ended up on the go live and all in albums 💀
