same man..loved IKON too.. liked Bobby especially. I love hip hop. As a Stay, obviously I loved Stray kids but I liked all the other groups too except SF9..for some reason I couldn't connect with them too much. Became a fan of ATEEZ too. Didn't watch any other group other than SKZ. AFter Kingdom I checked out ATEEZ. Love Hong joon. I had only seen San from ATEEZ and Juyeon from TBZ before when they performed with Hyunjin in MAMA 2020. But really loved Hongjoon after watching Kingdom.

I think with Ikon and BTOB, they are diff generations. They are on this show to feel/find the spark again, not to having a blazing glory clean sweep win and some ppl that react/watch dont understand that. I watched this with very little knowledge of them both, but SKZ are fans of both the teams so I had to be a little less biased and humble as a fan in my critique. Those were their idols growing up and you can tell they respect them. I looked into both groups after, which I think this was the other intention for them being on this show (on top of it being covid and they all missed performing/fan interactions) and BTOB is def a successful ballad group. They are also hilarious (variety kings). Peniel has other strengths but they are working on less members and needing to rearrange. Ikon is more like a party group to me, and they are loved due to their songs and chill personalities. Skz did amazing for this show, and their success was deserved (I think they did the best overall), but it being a mostly fan critique show would make it similar to BTS participating against them all imo. Everyone would be blown out of the water. Their fandom is huge (though I don’t think skz really realized it at the time with covid making everything seem so far away) I do think throughout this show there were mishaps or underwhelming performances for some of the other teams, but no one actually did bad. They just have diff creative perspectives and you could tell by the end all of them had their creativity of ideas challenged as to what would be a good performance. Which, made this show successful for all of them-gave them drive. I started as a Stay supporting and left this show with supporting BTOB and Ateez lol.

Happy new year, jongho’s vocals are insane, so is btob omg their vocals are amazing. I can’t wait for there next episode. Also why they got ateez in that room with the little Rollie chairs. They lined up wall to wall and a dresser. This must have been when Hyunjin was on hiatus as well, he was in the first episode but it was probably too much during a time like this for him.

Kingdom showed me so much about other groups and how some of these shows work. I watched it for SKZ and Ateez, i ended up enjoying all the other groups as well. As hard as it is to watch Kingdom, it’s always fun to watch along with Nigel ❤️

I swear Nigel, ATEEZ is your next group to stan! They are from a small company and work so hard. It's pronounced A (as in ate) and tease. A lot of STAY are also ATINY (fandom name) and are called Staytiny (like destiny). Like me! My friend who is Army and an ATINY, said that you would love ATEEZ because they both come from small companies and had similar struggles and challenges.

Yeah they very clearly didn't really care about the actual competition aspect of the show. They were there to have fun so I feel like they were way less nervous than the other groups cause they really didn't have anything to prove. They worked really hard for their performances, just like the other groups, they just were way more laid back about it. Losing wasn't the end of the world to them. I gained a lot of respect for iKon throughout this show.

I completely understand how you feel about Peniel's rapping, I think he would've been a much better singer of the company didn't make him a rapper. But besides musically, Peniel is so funny. I love his personality, and he's a close friend of Channie's :)
