I find it so funny rewatching this and seeing the interactions between Han and Hyunjin because predebut han and Hyunjin hated each other. Like you can see when han enters their dorm room and he goes to hug Hyunjin and changbin but Hyunjin dodges it and goes to hug I.N instead. Correct me if I'm wrong but predebut han had either a little bit of an anger issue or he was emotional because there's been some things said about how he threw a wallet at Seungmin and fought with everyone but I.N and stuff like that

To be honest I kinda agree with jyp in this to a certain extent. Like they're all obviously good but I the first performance was definitely unpolished and had a lot of minor flaws. But I do think the whole elimination is dumb. They obviously just needed more than a weeks time of practice.

That being said… I understand your emotion but if you go back and watch an early post-debut live performance Hellevator and then this again I promise you’ll see that he was only trying to help and the changes he made did help them improve. 😊

This is my second run through with this show and honest to God his comments get progressively worse. When you were saying in the previous episode that you didn’t understand the emotional turmoil this show brings I wish you all the best. I felt every emotion under the sun watching this show. I love and hate this show all at once but for you I will ride this rollercoaster again. I’m glad to be watching this amongst tons of STAY and glad to rehash this journey with all of you 🩵🩵🩵

By the way this episode is like the nicest JYP is in the whole series seriously. I think your reaction of “n**** what the fuck” Is probably what Chan was thinking this whole series whenever JYP said anything. Chan is obviously far more talented than JYP in music and I think it was hard for him to take criticism from someone who actually couldn’t write a song as well as he could.

I watched this when it actually aired (starting on ep3) and have rewatched it once before covid even hit. I swore years ago I'd never put myself through this damn emotional roller coaster again - yet here tf I am. Understand that Chan already had dozens if not hundreds of songs written at this point. All those years as a trainee were more than just singing and dancing - it was music theory, writing, producing, etc. I have always been convinced that JYP kept him as a trainee for so long because he wanted Chan to learn EVERYTHING.

I just know I’m gonna enjoy rewatching this show with you cause it’s like watching it for the first time again and experiencing the rollercoaster of emotions . But honestly appreciate you as a reactor Nigel. You just seem really authentic with it and that you really do care about the boys and their journey and truly getting to know them. And I see it with your album and and music reviews because you listen to everything as a whole and speak your honest opinions on what songs you like and don’t like and even remember songs that aren’t as popular as the title tracks typically are. Keep it up!!

I've watched the survival show like 6 times with other reactors and it never gets easier. You seriously need to have a good blood pressure medication and anti-depressants to watch this ish lol (fyi I'm not on medication... it's a joke lol). But seriously though, it's such and emotional roller-coaster for real.

I'm so glad you are watching these because you really understand the dynamics of the team, how they've grown and a taste of what they've been through. But it really is a hard show to watch. To know six of them were just 16-18 years old (including Han and Changbin the lyricists) still blows my mind.

It’s ep 26. And sorry for the sentence part way through it posted while I was trying to reword something. There’s another one where they get into they’re dynamic too. That one is 4 years old and they actually mention fights they had during making hellevator that one is in Vol. 3 Ep 3. And now that I’ve just rewatched them I’m gonna change my recommendation to the older one, I got them mixed up. I’m so sorry this was so long.

For tomorrows two kids room I recommend the most recent Han x Hyunjin because they’ll give you some insight as to how the personal relationships were off camera in this stage of their pre debut, and how much they’ve grown together through all the struggles. It might be out of order but maketo watch while your watching the survival show cause you’ll pick up on a lot more undertones in there communication with each other pre debut.
