Honestly I would say this song came at a great but heartbreaking time bc I recently lost one of my dogs and I truly was in my room for 3 days having sobbed for most of them, but either way, this song both picked at an already open wound and held my hand at the same time....dammit Chan — I love him so much❤️

When I was trying to sell Stray Kids to my mom, I told her she would love the beats and that quite a bit of their songs have a good amount of english in them; it was the "and they wrote 2 songs about their dogs," that peaked her interest.
