Hongjoong wrote this melody a few years ago. Recently Hongjoong started an ATEEZ present project and 3 members (Yunho, San, and Wooyoung) helped write the lyrics. I love hearing San’s soft and airy voice in this song. He’s the lead singer and last year he gained the title as main dancer and choreographed the ending of Work.

Sooo what you're saying is, is that San is your bias and Mingi is your wrecker? 😏 Yes, the song and mv are sad, but beautiful. My interpretation: "Even though winter is typically cold and lonely, San shared moments with the pov person that made those winter nights warm and comforting. But now that winter is over, the person is gone. And even though we would typically welcome a warm spring, San is left alone and cold, waiting for winter to feel warmth again, reminiscing on the past." I believe the warm-lighted scenes are to show his past or memories, while the cool-lighted scenes show what's currently happening. And those scenes are where he's actually alone. But even still, he smiles through that loneliness thinking of those warm moments when he wasn't alone. Even though it's sad, I think this song is really supposed to be a comfort to those who may feel lonely to provide warmth with not only San's beautiful vocals but also to show we can get through this loneliness by remembering the times when we truly felt warmth and happiness. But those are just my thoughts, it could be total nonsense. ☺️

I was just like you where I was like omg we’re getting Your Eyes but Sannie, and then the deeper into the video I went and the more I thought about the lyrics I also got the vibe that he was alone the entire time and going through what most of us probably have at one point in losing someone (romantically or not). Where you retrace all those steps and do those things that you used to do with them but they’re no longer here. Those sad but happy memories that stay with you 😭 It’s so beautiful, I love San and Hongjoong for giving us this 🧡
