that trauma built up from his father is definiyely the root of beom seoks issues, the bullying and feeling insecure are what I believe finally caused that shift in his personality. I think a lot of his issues were directed at suho because he perceives suho to be what he isn't, strong, outgoing, and unafraid. he finally got some good friends and people were planting bugs in his ear about him being a "lackey" and he let his insecurities take the wheel in the worst way. that boy needed psychological help.

The beom-seok hate in these comments is crazy(btw I completely get people dislike his character and I have nothing against it just wanna share my thoughts) Yes I completely agree he is doing terrible things and I do not agree with them and don’t think he can play the victim about what he’s done(and will do🥲) but as it shows he has severe ptsd from his previous bullying and yes he takes it out on the wrong people but in his mind su-ho is like his old bully’s because he does have strength and power over beom-seok(not in a bad way) but his mental state is so bad that he can’t tell the difference so he hangs out with people he can control(with money) bc it makes him feel safe and stable. Also we all think what si-eun does in the end is justified and that is the same way beom-seok thinks about him hurting his old bully’s and su-ho. You will notice that mostly whenever he was an asshole or angry with Suho was after an issue with his father. He needed someone to take it out on which is pathetic
