One major thing other groups struggle with when covering Ateez is the theatricality of the choreo. Look at Hongjoong on his knees, he doesn't just fall, he slumps down, like he's just realised everything he wanted has failed and there's no hope left... Others can't get that across; they see a dance move. Admittedly, some individuals like Hwi from NewKidd could absolutely switch with a member and still bring the energy, but not whole groups. The mentality isn't there; they don't feel that every Ateez performance is more attuned to musical theatre than choreography, and they lose the edge Ateez brings.
