As is stated in this post, it's with the narrators. I don't have a set date yet but will update here as soon as I get info and can narrow it down. The closest I can guess is December/January based on audible delays.

When are you going to release the audiobook on Monster Girls In Space #6. I really really enjoy your books but have a hard time reading due to TBI and have to enjoy them through audio. So can't wait for it to come out.

34 to 70. I'll be pulling down those chapters shortly as they are the old unedited chapters and amazon requires that I not leave them up.

I'm glad you are enjoying the books so far. Its always been my goal to write interesting material to give my readers a break from reality. I'm not a veteran, but I have several friends who are and I try to keep things as true to their experience as I can to give an accurate portrayal for things. The idea that my books might one day become a movie is such an amazing one. I'd love to see it!

I'm new here but, like everything you have written. I'm just fan boying out right now. I'm just so curious are you a veteran. I am and some of your stuff rings as someone who knows or was in himself. Also can't wait for you new stuff. Dude your work is probably the best thing I have read in years. I PRAY you get a movie deal. Your ideas are fresh and new but your characters are the backbone of what legends are made. I am older so please take this to heart from a 53 year old nerd you are really really good. As a nerd I am sure that you series with monster girls in space is the best of company with Star Wars. I work for the mouse and have been telling everyone that is a reader that you are a fresh breath of air in the universe we follow. I also mean this with everything you write. It does the soul good to hear it sometimes. Please don't stop you are that good. I know that if you read this it sounds shallow but you are really good so don't listen to the idiots out there. Be proud of your work and just know that someone like me. Who takes the time to write this out are hundreds more who won't tell you but feel the same way. Just wanted to say it people always second guess if there good enough but I'm here to tell you ARE. Well that's enough of the ego boost. Just glad I stubble one of books to read in my downtime. You are good don't let anyone tell you're not. Well that was it just letting you know an old nerd loves your work

I know you probably see this a lot but mgis 7 possible release season? I really love that series.

Summoned by Monster Girls will continue as a serial until the series itself ends. I expect that the serial readers will get the whole story before the publication cycle catches all the way up to it. Even if the publication cycle does though, I plan to keep the serial chapter release going for the regular readers until it hits its end.

I almost think its worse knowing when a book will come out 8/19 seems to be taking way to long to show up. Anyway cant wait to be able to read it then add it to my audible account so I can listen to it while working.

Pre-order for MGIS6 goes up this coming Tuesday. Just getting stuff set up this weekend. 8/19 will be the release date on MGIS6

As Preorder for Lost Legacy is going up, any news on the release date of MGIS 6? As much as I enjoy your other series (lately been binging SFL up to #3, incredible) I love the space setting and lore of MGIS the most. Can't wait to continue Des' journey!

nothing yet. Audible normally asks for 2-6 weeks from the date it was submitted to be approved, so it should be sometime in the next few weeks since we are at the 2-3 week mark.

Wanted to let you know the MGIS 4 audio is out. I wanted to let the author know that the intro chapter is the outro chapter. but wanted to let people know it out and that. Question will all if lovers be taller then Desmond? Thought it such funny and cool aspect of the relationships. Thanks for all the great books

Is there a working book title to MGIS5 yet?

M. Tress

Yep. I rotate which ones are coming out as they come up in rotation. I can't leave the advance chapters up when I release the official publication, so I usually take them down about a week before official release. Currently its Lost Bloodline 2, which releases 3.9. Next up will be MGIS5 that starts on 3.3 to release mid April. After that it'll likely swap over to SFL3, but I haven't decided what the book after MGIS 5 is going to be yet.

Maybe you can open a store front on your website. Brandon Sanderson had a book come out and offered 500 signed books at regular price on his website. It was not advertised at all, just a one line sentence. They sold out in 15 minutes and I missed one when I tried to get one at the 20 minute mark.

Glad you are looking forward to it. Wrapping the rough draft right now before it goes to the editors. Book 4's audio has been submitted, so it's just a matter of waiting on Audible to release it.

Excellent. I found your work for kindle on Amazon by looking to see the top books in science fiction. Book 1 came in at number 4 overall. Frankly I had no idea it was a harlequin. I was developing a story line of Harry Potter goes to space and your series is along those lines. I am enjoying the writings, and look forward to seeing how Desmond’s career progresses, and to find out if my guesses on how the story comes to fulfillment.

Yep! Book 5 for MGIS is on the way right now, should go out in april and I expect to start releasing the preview chapters sometime in february once Steelforged book 2 goes out

I appreciate it. Yeah there were some problems from the narrators that allowed errors to slip through. I'm working with them to re-proof everything and get it corrected and reuploaded.

Will there be an update for the audiobook? There are some mistakes in the audio where the lines are being repeated, likely the editing missed something. I think I noticed 3 or 4 instances so far... still have 5h to go until I finish the audiobook. Didn't want to put this out on Audible..

Yes actually! I just heard from Royal Guard today that it's with ACX, so sometime in the next two weeks we should see book 1 go live on audible. I'll make a big announcement when it does :D Also, yes, both MGIS and Steelforged Legacy will be dual audio.

M. Tress, I am loving your work and was first hooked on your MGIS series. I am finishing up my second read through before I start on your SBMG series on RR. I’m not sure if you will have Des pick up any more girls for his team but it would be awesome and interesting if one of the ones he picks up is on of the Hands (can’t remember the species name)

Hope you enjoy them, at the moment the only other one out in the wild is Summoned by Monster Girls, which is entirely on Royal Road at the moment (Save the early release chapters here). Hoping to have book 4 for MGiS out in november, but that's all dependent on if Des and his girls cooperate or not. That and Steelforged Legacy next month. Trying to get more material out to folks and burning through the backlog of what I have written xD.

that is very weird. Was it via the website or via kindle app? i know a few folks that were having issues with it via the app/phone that had better luck accessing it via the web on their phone, they just had to swap it to 'desktop site' mode on the cell.

Tried to buy book 1 today and amazon won't process the payment witch us funny because they have no issues processing audible payments...

for MGiS book 1 yeah. I plan to do a few teaser chapters for each of the books as they wind up and get started, and then when I move to a longer release schedule, teaser chapters will come out for the other books for a good month or more.
