https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DM2J5CMH
Promoted early, Desmond McLaughlin and his mates are now full members of the Hegemony military, with all the rights and duties that rank includes.
Given the benefits of achieving the rank of full adept early, Desmond and company elected to be deployed aboard the battlecruiser Fist of Defiance, a ship that just happened to be part of the Seventh Border Fleet. The same fleet headed by a certain admiral whose daughter was saved by Desmond and his girls.
Now, though, away from the oversight of the academy ships, the reality of his place in the greater galaxy is even closer to home. With his girls at his back, Desmond must do his best to show his capability not only as an adept but also as the clan-male to the newly formed Clan McLaughlin.
Things are never as simple as they seem though, and events march ever forward throughout the greater galaxy. While Desmond’s team might be something special, they are only a very small piece on the very large board of Hegemony of Velvet Stars.
What fresh trouble will Desmond uncover? What new foes will rise up to face Clan McLaughlin? And will Desmond and his family be ready to face them?

Makes me so happy to hear folks are enjoying it.

Yea a lot of people seem to love your books on the subreddit, cause honestly it’s deserved. Someone else promoted the audiobook for book 1 as well I think
M. Tress
Not at all! I appreciate spreading the word and the reddit seem happier if it's fans than just authors promoting.
Mustafa
Hope ya don’t mind but I posted this on Reddit on the r/haremfantasy subreddit to promote it, I can take it down if you ask. Anyways excited for this book ya got me hooked with the others, definitely pre ordering it

Looking forward to it your best series

I figured the series title was a tossup. I actually took inspiration from the old Muppets in Space series for it. It's why each book has a more serious title. And I can appreciate the wait being hard. I had fo rush to hit the 19th as the goal as this had originally been planned for January. I'm hoping to alternate this and Steelforged Legacy for a while to build up a decent library.

Also, do you know how hard it is to wait 11 days? I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy the series. The title is kind of cringe, but I love your other monster girl series, so I started reading mgis. I started reading mgis like 1.5 weeks ago. Kind of addicted to it. I want the next 10 books tomorrow pls and thanks!

I can see how folks are thinking that but it's just the shadows of the arm behind him xD

Also, is Des supposed to have a mullet? Because he does. Business up front, party in the back!
M. Tress
It's the angle. It's hard to sneer with all those muscles and look feminine. Raegans just out of focus

Both Chloe and Raegan's face look Manish? Intentional or accidental?

Pickles are fine, but they will go on a killing spree if someone adds mayo to a hamburger.

Naw, that was a 'nothing major happens, time passes' moment. Book 3 covers a whole year at the academy so there are larger time skips

I know it isn't exactly the place, but bit the bullet and am already up to book 3 of MGiS. I think MTress forgot a chapter though because 14 is just after they secure the pirate vessel, still on deployment on the freelance vessel. 15 is sex scene. 16 has them back at the academy, doing further practice for boarding actions. It feels like 1 to 3 chapters are missing entirely.

Done!

Can’t wait to get it

Is it me or does Desmond have a Modern mullet now. Wounder if he will add the Tra'Kaal in his group. Maybe not in this book because usually you add the next member on the cover. could be a trick though never know. Already pre ordered and now waiting for the audiobooks. So excited to see what happens.
M. Tress
book 1's audio is with ACX right now, so we are waiting on the pleasure of Audible for it to go live. If I had a set release date, I'd let folks know but I will make an announcement when it does go live.

THE WAIT
M. Tress
Honestly it'd be Raegan who'd cause that kind of fuss, but spot on the idea subject matter.

Chloe is looking extra badass
Tyler
Pre ordered and now to play the waiting game.

The cover is giving me, "He asked for no pickles!" vibes which is just hilarious I love it
Casey
