[Tier 3] SKZ - Scars (MV+First Take+Korean Ver.)

Today, we're checking out SCARS :D because apparently, there was an album with Scars that came first before Circus, and we totally knew about it, until we forgot and no longer did. XD So here we are :)
Had a LOT to talk about, especially regarding how the music 'feels', and how big of a role the music video, as well as the Japanese lyrics play in generating that specific feel.
And this discussion continued since we checked out the live performance (which gets rid of the MV) AND the Korean version (which gets rid of the Japanese lyrics).
Would love to hear your thoughts, and also get some good links for the next track, "Call"!

Scars is such a good song, definitely one of my favourite skz songs ever. I know I'm late to the party, but i highly recommand you watch the dance practice for Scars. One of my absolute favorites I love this song so much!! I do not speak Korean but as someone who has really only exclusively listened to the Japanese version except for maybe a couple times I may have heard it in the past, listening to it in Korean felt so weird to me!! 😭 But interestingly enough I find that while I do tend to like the songs in the original language they were released in, when I’m present for the releases of the song I don’t tend to mind them as much, though I still listen to the original most often! Strange! Would love for you guys to check out the dance practice for this too!! It is one of my favorites of theirs ever and it’s just SO beautiful!! Live performances are enjoyable as well! Excited for CALL as well, such an underrated song that I absolutely LOVE and am personally obsessed with but one I don’t see people checking out often! 🩵
