Ah, I can relate to this. I started getting all funny in my head on the second city I lived in abroad. I remember physically wishing someone to beat me up, hoping for some sort of catharsis.
The pasta story really touched me. I have lived with my partner for 13 years and I am pretty sure there are things he does that would make me miss him so much if he were not there anymore to do them. Thanks for sharing so many personal things.
