Every prisoner in the prison has a job - some work in the kitchen, some do cleaning, others work in sewing workshops or repair shops, nobody ever sits idle.
Taking advantage of Gleb’s connections in the prison, Valery asked him to set things up so he could assist with his work (Gleb only got his job there because the prison warden is literally his girlfriend’s father, otherwise, with a criminal record, he wouldn’t have been hired.)
Although Gleb was a psychologist by profession, in reality, he handled the prison’s financial reports, covering up funds stolen by the administration. Valery volunteered to help him with this paperwork, so from morning till evening, they spent their time together in Gleb’s private office, shut away from the outside world and the rest of the prison.
+ About what’s happening in the sketches haha:
Valery never witnessed the rise of smartphones or even the widespread popularity of mobile phones, since he went to prison in the early 2000s. So he has no idea how to use smartphones, the internet, or even a computer.

Valery is going to be the death of me, I SWEAR. I know that smile may be fake but I still want to think that deep on his heart, the time he spend with Gleb is more than a 'mission', something we /do/ enjoy.
