This stretch of badlands has seen ambushes, standoffs, and secrets buried just beneath the dry earth. Saddle up, because the next bend in the trail might just be your last.
A dirt road winds its way through a rise of arid terrain, the path carved between jagged outcrops and sun-scorched mesas that loom like silent sentinels over the land. The air is dry and still, carrying the scent of dust and heat, while the ground is cracked and scattered with tufts of brittle grass and stubborn desert shrubs. Each bend in the trail feels tense, hemmed in by high ridges and narrow gullies that offer little warning of what might lie ahead. It’s the kind of place where footsteps vanish quickly, voices echo too far, and an ambush could spring from any shadowed ledge.
