Growth Lab 4 – Twenty Years Later!
Thank you! Thank you for your support. I’m so grateful for my friends and fans. I love drawing and sharing my work and to be able to do this for so long is an incredible blessing.
What you have here is the 2023 version of a comic I first drew in 2003. Growth Lab 4 was originally released on Yahoo Groups if I recall correctly. At the time, it was my very best work to date and I was so proud of it. Coming back to these pages 20 years later there were a lot of happy surprises.
I know there are fans of the 2003 version. My goal with this one was to honor that by working to capture the same energy of the original panels while keeping the dialogue, pacing and layouts as close as possible. This was never meant to be a complete rework of Growth Lab 4.
So for all you original fans, here you go. For new friends and fans, enjoy the new redraw here. For everyone - I’ve also included the original 2003 version in case you want to check out how things changed or were a fan of the original!
Huge appreciation for you all, thank you so, so much!
PLEASE READ: this is part of my Patreon rewards package so if you are a patron you ALREADY have access to this. Additionally, this entire comic is online at my main site (at a lower resolution). I put this page up as an alternate for those looking for specific rewards or who prefer supporting me via alternate methods.
This a PDF collection of of my online comic - the Growth Lab comic series. All of the pages are the highest resolution I have and some of the work has been remastered with better lettering and layout. Mostly though - this is older work for my longtime friends and fans OR those curious!
