ACAB Can SAVE The Batman Trilogy! | READUS 101
🕑 Added 2023-03-13 16:01:00 +0000 UTCBatman has a history of promoting copaganda in comics, movies and television, and Matt Reeves The Batman isn’t exempt from this. But with the origins of police being linked to colonization, oppression, capitalism and white supremacy, there’s a way that The Batman: Part II and The Batman: Part III can use the acronym ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards) as part of The Batman trilogy Matt Reeves wants to make in order to show the true problems with policing, all while using James Gordon and the rest of the cops from the movie.

Yeah, the relationship between Bats and cops always confused me. Cuz doesn't the fact that he even exist prove that policing and the whole judicial system doesn;t work?
Yep! It should be available for every active patron under the Script tag!
I love this analysis! The employee metaphor is excellent - is it available in text form somewhere?
