This Week's WIP and Previews
🕑 Added 2025-05-26 18:01:48 +0000 UTCNormally I would have 2 WIP for you, but last week's doubled up sessions on Tifa's spitroast set me back by a lot. Madruga is a lot of fun to collaborate with, but their sessions are usually pretty demanding on my PC. But the volumetrics... oh the volumetrics.
This week we have something from Kaeg, a bit of a surprise for me and everyone else. When he sent this to me, I had no clue he was working on it!
That's right. Sazza is rolling a very difficult charisma check to convince you to help her escape her captors. I dare say she might succeed.
On to this week's releases!
First up, get ready to shoot webs.
Domino the Cat is so great to work with. For someone who doesn't dabble in VR, a lot of their animations work so well in it. Special thanks to them for always being such a pleasure to collaborate with. I think it goes without saying how talented they are, but being so affable is the cherry on top.
Next up, Psylocke.
This was an idea that Abysmal threw at me out of the blue. I really didn't think I'd be able to fit this in with all of our conversions, VRAR's, and premium content... but here we are. It for sure set me back in terms of personal time, but I had a lot of fun working on it so I consider it a win for everyone.
My only concern on this was getting the lighting on the VR to match the non-VR. Abysmal had already color graded and finished post on the non-VR when I started it, so it certainly didn't look like it does now; I think they look similar enough (without being destructive and losing detail in VR) that it worked out great. Obviously there's no vignette, but the rest match up pretty well.
That's it for this week. I'll be uploading WIP and previews to the Discord, and I'll be back next week with them here.
Enjoy!
